Who is the best Lichess player?

@Sssamatppap I think it's a very interesting idea.

I also think that players who have won a Shield should be rewarded much more in the ranking than players who play against weaker players in order to be at the top of the ranking. If they really want that first place, let them prove it in those kinds of tournaments.

There are times when there is a false difference of rating between the top player and the one who won a Shield. The first one surely increases its ranking against weaker players and the other one really fights against more balanced players. Unfortunately, this is something that we all know and that remains unresolved.

Well, this point system is flexible and changeable, I don't know yet which solution is the most useful, but we can rise the Shield points. The first place get 200 (standard) + 400 (trophies) points, what is 600. (+ difficulty points, but that doesn't matter at the moment) Then the shield should be 600 or more point. For example 700. It looks like fair.
This is already implemented : there are trophies for achievements, and you can count who has the most trophies (or the largest row of them).

As #3 suggests, this is likely to be penguin (@penguingim1), though Lance (@Lance5500) comes close. Arka (@Arka50) is not active enough, and indeed as #10 notes this leaderboard requires people to actively maintain their trophies.
In some respects what's being sought after in this thread is covered in the FVVWC, so some aspects, or iterations at least, of this idea seem redundant.

@AcademicNinja99 Both penguin and Arka didn't enter all tournaments / variants. Arka didn't even get a single point in zh.
@FischyVishy

Well, in that case, the FVVWC determined who was the best player "participating". There could have been a player who really was better than everyone else at all the variants, but just didn't participate. (not saying there is one) This leaderboard is supposed to take all players into account. (though it still requires players' participation since it uses the Lichess leaderboard, and you need to play at least once a week to keep your place there)
