Any pinochle players out there....

...who might have some insight as to books or other resources where I could find detailed strategies about the game. Ive got questions arising after games (specific hand play and the like. call it a post mortem of sorts) and no real place to find answers. Online searches show the same things that dont answer my questions, so theyre not especially helpful. Any suggestions?
Lol, so Im guessing thats a "no" from you.... Pinochle is a trick-taking card game.
#4 no no, its a card game

Thanks Skittle....Ill have to check that out. Ive seen that one before, but it seems to have been updated, so Ill give it another peek.. Thanks again. And hearts and spades are terrific too. My own way of thinking: if you know how to play spades, then pinochle is like spades on steroids. If you know how to play pinochle first, then spades seems like a slightly dumbed down version of pinochle. Lots of similarities in game mechanics, some stark differences, lots of nuance to the game.....I think youd like it.
#6 - I think the progression in technical difficulty is...Pinochle - Euchre - Bridge. I really enjoy playing Cribbage. :]
The only trick taking game that is enjoyable is Spades (unless you count tarot). Whist is too boring, Euchre is too much like whist, and pinochle's scoring system is too complex.
Cribbage is awesome, though.
