That's the easiest way to find that page from the main page?
The easiest way to find it is to click on the variant name in a game or tournament.
But that only links to a single variant's rules? I don't see an easy way to access "all the variants".
The sidebar on the left can be used to look at different ones. But yeah, I don't know if there's a link directly to lichess.org/variant.
Understanding how to navigate this site is a shock when coming from other sites. I love this site; the content and the design (mostly) but there's a learning curve that doesn't have to exist. It's very painful to use on mobile which is odd given how great the mobile (android) app and regular (desktop) site is. Stuff doesn't seem very well integrated. There's a "online friends" thing in the corner I can't get to go away and which is on top of the page navigation on mobile even though I never use it. Puzzles on the desktop are called Training on the app. What's the difference between the forum and Questions and Answers? Why not combine all community conversations into one place with a sensible number of categories?
