Well played! Out of curiosity, why did you promote to a rook instead of a queen?

I think its nicer to your opponent to just promote to a queen and win quickly. (;
Maybe your opponent knew he about to blunder a piece up and asked nicely for you to resign first. :)
I just want to see opponent's face few moves later when game changes completely!
Personally, I really enjoy playing the game to the very end. Of course, with my rating it's also super useful and valuable, learning how to convert quickly and safely, and avoid stalemates etc. For the same reason, I don't resign either, I want to see if I can complicate matters for my opponent etc.

If my opponent resigns early, I usually finish the game against the computer, to check if I can convert such an advantage. And sometimes I blunder miserably and learn a valuable endgame lesson!
