Timeout in 10+10 etc,

What is the general attitude dealing with players who run out of time but say you don't really win if I run outta time. I have lost many a game to time myself. Should you give time away and let it come back to bite you in the ass?
Tinme is just another ressource, giving someone extra time is like giving them extra material.
My opinion of players who complain about time, or any other reason... Is that they are bad losers.
Both players start out on equal terms.

Be gracious in defeat, and humble in victory.

If people complain about lack of time, they should go play correspondence chess.
Saying that your opponent didn't really win because you ran out of time is about as valid as saying your opponent who checkmated you didn't really win because he was low on time and he only won by checkmate. A win is a win.
A true gentleman will not only give his opponent extra time, he will also give away his pieces. And if you're about to checkmate your opponent it's better not to, as this would deprive him of the chance to make a comeback.

In all seriousness, if you agree to a certain time limit and then complain about it, you're just a sore loser. People like this will always find something to whine about.
Losing on time is no different from losing on the board. It's still a loss.

If your opponent didn't want to lose this way he should have moved faster, at the risk of making worse moves of course. You shouldn't feel compelled to give your opponent extra time, you both agreed to the time limit before you started the game. Giving away extra time is like making a bad move deliberately.
