** android 8 app vs site

Dear Lichess,
Great site!

I had an old phone with android 4 and the app worked perfectly.

Yesterday I changed to android 8 with another phone and the site is less feasible. It doesn't show what sort of game I am playing and going back & forth to see the moves is less user friendly. Also, i can't enter the app via login. Only the login site works.

Any ideas how to solve the issues?

The App is super buggy, as there is a smaller dev team behind it. If the app doesn't work, try and switch to chrome to access the browser site :) This solves typically solves most issues

Mobile app is developed by couple people, many features are missing and interface overall isn't user friendly. I understand that improving app is slow and time consuming process, especially when it's non-profit.

Usually when I'm on vacation or don't have access to PC I'm using app, mostly for playing (for some reason in web version I have issues with moving pieces). After 7.0 version app became much clunkier. Adding accelerated scroll to all menus will make it much comfortable, but probably it's too complicated to implement.
