Possible improvements to Lichess

Sorry, I'm not talking about game improvements, but aesthetics.

As I said, I'd like to help out. The users don't need to download an extension, but what I say is implemented in Lichess. It is then up to the developers to choose the best way to implement it, I give ideas, in fact I am discussing them.

You might have better luck reaching out to the devs on Discord or Github github.com/ornicar/lila

I have given an idea, I have not removed anything, I have moved, it is different. Your statement does not make sense, since that is a minimal thing that can be corrected with a demonstration video on Youtube.

If I understand you correctly, after your change I have to move my mouse over a piece and click to see the line?!
That is not an improvement. When I analyze a game I am not hovering over any piece, I am clicking on the notation directly. The way it is right now is perfect.

you focused on a detail without seeing the whole. Have you viewed the images?
Yes, I looked at the images.

That detail is what makes the user experience worse.

You think you improve the situation, but instead you are doing the opposite.

Right, and you are ignoring my feedback.

I've read everything, you tell me to see if I can ask the extension developers. I have already asked the Lichess developers and they will have to see.

Again, you are focusing on one detail, what you say can also change.
I think what I said earlier was:

One word which I've heard Thibault repeatedly use is "minimalism". Where other sites might control how things display to every player, Lichess can be customized by userstyles and userscripts. I don't claim to fully understand this design philosophy, but I do understand that if I tried to persuade the team to make these changes, I would hear about maintenance and browser compatibility and this wouldn't get very far.

That said, in your most recent screenshot the "after" highlight of the current move number (4) seems to serve a useful function as opposed to being an aesthetic preference (although desktop applications for chess lack such a highlight).
