Of course, it's only there as a Silly Squabble From The Chess World (like with Karpov's yogurt).
The other day, out of the blue, my wife, who is pretty much oblivious to anything chess related, asked me: what is it exactly that's going on with this chess cheating? Anal beads? Seriously?
The Guardian published a story with a quote from Danny Rensch actually effing and blinding. I haven't seen a similar quote in a newspaper of that caliber before, even from football hooligans.

There were a few days when the TV comedians talked about this. One of them referred to "knight to king's seven" instead of "knight to e2".
