Is there a feature whereby I can be notified of upcoming simuls?

If you want to create/play a simul you should go here lichess.org/simul

Edit: Recently there's not a feature of upcoming simul

I was thinking of a notification that would alert me to new simuls without having to check the simul page

I agree with you, Lichess should add a simul feature to davertise the upcoming simuls.

You should scroll down to the Main Page where you may see a simul by a Higher-Rated player.
Sometimes it appears at the left side of the page too.
