Illegal move in rapid OTB tournament

If I make another move while my king is under check and press the clock, What should be my punishment?

You lose the game?

Well... im not sure but uscf rules state that an illegal move and your opponent claims then the opponent gets 2 extra mins on their clock

Funny thing is... uscf also states that there is not a limit on how many illegal moves you are allowed to make

That rule was changed ig now the opponent gets extra time.

1 illegal chance gone. You have two. Another illegal move and you lose the game. (Under AICF rules).

This is actually quite interesting

Also, if possible, you have to block the check with the piece you moved when you played the illegal move, if that's not possible, then it's ok and you can play any move the stops the check.

As soon as either you or your opponent detects an illegal move has been played, the arbiter should be called.
