E-book or Hardcover?

Hardcover.

I prefer to touch the book and also, I find the process of reading on a paper book different, it promotes attention and suspense, with the sound of the pages being turned
100% paperback but if i had to choose probably hardcover
i cannot stand listening to things unless its music because then the words dont even register with my brain theyre just sounds and music is actually something that is worth listening to and not just random words
with a real live book i can touch and see i use my eyes not my ears
way less work because then i dont spend time trying to figure out which word is which when i can just read it
circumstances dictate that many of my books now are e-books. Simply more portable. As much as I hate to, I will probably have to leave my library behind when I move to Canada, and knowing that a good part of it can be replaced and put onto a portable hard drive is a great consolation. But it will be a shame to leave behind, won't it.
I don't have a lot of hardcover books in my room, but the ones I do have are the reservoirs of many memories. My Oxford Cdn Dictionary, Shakespeare, the collected dialogues of Plato. A couple of those old Bell chess books: 100 Soviet Chess Miniatures, Judgement and Planning in Chess. Just minutes ago I came across a place marker; a scoresheet from a game I played at the Burlington Chess Club more than 30 years ago. What can replace those memories?
hardcover its easier to pay attention to and I may be weird but I like the smell of a book. is that weird..?

i hate the smell of new books....
no its not weird! your preeference is your preference not anyone else's dont let someone's perspective change who you are! (i probably sound like a motivational poster rn or something like that)
i rilly dont care
as long as it is cheap and available
therefore either paperbacks or ebooks...
hardbacks seem rilly unnecessary (though i own some , cuz bday presents) apart from being beautiful to touch and feel..
