Chess-addiction

Does anyone here have experience with chess-addiction? It seems to apply mostly to quick timecontrol players, but i would love to hear everyones thoughts on the subject..

I started 1.5 year ago and before I did little with chess..
but now I have been here many hours.

I'm not sure if addiction exists. How about if you like to do it, then do it. You can say fuck moderation as well.
