did the design changed ?

Hi, Can you tell me if the design changed or if I did something wrong.
Thaks
instead of cheering the new version, is there someone who can solve the design problems?
@JuLa01 what exactly is your problem? I use chrome and zoomed out to 80% and it appears to be very similar to v1. Also you can adjust the board size on the bottom right.
Hi there
1. the pieces do not fit into the board (seems pieces and board are not scaled synchronously)
2. I have to re-adjust (app 41%) to have the pieces fit
3. After that I can not enlarge the picture
4. New game, new resize
5. I do not see notation

Of course we all appreciate the ad-free chess space here, and all the features and tournaments. But there are clearly problems with the new design. When I first tried to play after the change, I thought my laptop was having serious display issues. My biggest problem is that the board is maximized to a smaller size than it used to be on my laptop, far too small for my aging eyes. In the previous version, I could make the board the height of my laptop screen. Now, it doesn't matter what I do with Chrome's zoom or the lichess size slider or the corner drag-tool, the board's max size remains much smaller. This seems to be at the expense of making the clock far larger than necessary. The find-a-game area is also far too large.

I suppose if this had been the first version I ever saw I might be satisfied. But your previous version was much more user friendly. My suggestion would be to re-do the visual changes, and do some rigorous beta-testing with some dedicated volunteers who can give you a lot of feedback.
Why are all the components so large, hurts my eyes looking at it! Homepage boxes and fonts are way to large. When playing, the time and box component area is way to large, very distracting. The old version was so much better when it comes to the layout.
