Yeah off topic doesn't get that many views as the other threads, but lichess is obviously a place for chess. So I think I lot of people will just post their off-topic question elsewhere.

It ain't really "dead", it just looks that way because there has been a brief lull in the spam topics, so there aren't as many threads being created and being complained about. I'm sure it will pick up over the weekend.
