Time for classical game

100 minutes based on an average chess game of 40 moves.

You said the average game. I dont think that the average 15+10 takes 50 minutes. 50 minutes seems to lean heavily towards the longer side of a 15+10. Doesn't seem to be taking into account miniatures and games that don't go beyond move 30 or 40, which there will be plenty. And it is assuming that both players burn their time, whereas in reality it is not uncommon to see one player at 8 minutes remaining while the other player is under 2 minutes in a 15+10.

agree to many. but recently i played a 15+10 event and each game took about 45 min- 70 min. Actually i am planning to play a 30+30 event, so asked.

Using the Lichess time control (lichess.org/faq#time-controls): (clock initial time) + 40 (time increment)

(30 x 60) + (40 x 30) = 3,000 seconds or 50 minutes
