Public shaming is with regards to cheating or the like, not saying a name which discriminates against a group of people is offensive.

Usually people will use "1488" instead of just 88, the 14 stands for these 14 words: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children".

I'm an anti-racist, but I just heard of 1488 because I'm aware of various imageboards on the 'net and i'm aware of that phrase. I never heard of ppl just saying"88" though, I always thought it was "1488".
