The most beautiful and rewarding games

The most beautiful and rewarding games are games in which you are with you back against the wall, the knife is at your throat, you have an enormous material disadvantage, the threats against you are horrific, and still you win.

Those are the best games.

Here another example, freshly played. I thought this game was going too easy, so in order to make it more challenging, I sacrificed my queen on move 14.

It turned out that was not enough, because the opponent let me win his queen on move 25, and it was again about equal. In order to bring the excitement back in the game, I decided to sacrifice my castle on move 27. Despite these handicaps it remained a tame game until move 66 when the opponent resigned.

Do you guys think I should have sacrificed more?

Here I was queen behind, but I played on and hit him with whatever I had left: lichess.org/v8lhawfvIlKb

Then at one point I played a nice move with which I not only could win his queen, but I could win with it TWO queens of him.

And then he resigned, because then he would be the one with a queen behind. Why didn't he play on with a queen behind? What happened to fighting spirit?

Anyway, those are nice games in which you still win, even though you're a queen short.
