Because lichess isn't as profitable of a platform for streamers - chess.com does strong promotion of streamers and offers them more tools.

Why bribe? This is awesome when a company financially supports someone from the chess world to help him to live from chess.
This is a win-win case, and when you refer as bribe you insert a negative point of view, but this is a good thing to me, how would this be bad?

He is a chess.com partner
For fun!
Actually, it is because while Lichess is equal for everyone, <3
He gets privileges (streamer commands) on chess.com that allow him to force random people to play, etc., etc.
Now how is that fair?
