You will never "beat" BadModo by giving away all your material. Try this method instead.
Step 1. Capture all of BadModo's material except for his a-pawn.
Step 2. Place your king on the square a1 and make sure your pawn is still on a2.
Step 3. Use Zugzwang to force your opponent's pawn to a3.
Step 4. Place a piece in position to occupy b2.
Step 5. Cover all the squares adjacent to c2 except the one(s) you want the enemy king to enter by, probably either c3 or d3.
Step 6. Force the king to c2 by way of said square(s) WITH A CHECK and not with Zugzwang.
Step 7. Move piece from step 4 onto b2.
Step 8. Enjoy being checkmated by BadModo.
