@GSP0113 ...and rightly so..I have come up with King=koala...reasons are..generally never moves around very much..needs a lot of looking after...
@bunyip
That's actually really clever. I like it.
Though I have another idea - it could be counted as deuterium, since it's still pawns and there's only two "particles". Deuterium is stable, and even though doubled pawns can be a weakness and liability, they're often manageable. Tripled pawns, however, are really difficult to defend, which makes sense since tritium is radioactive.
It doesn't work exactly but I think there are lots of possibilities to be explored with this set. I guess I'll call it the (Innate)Aluminum set. :P

hi
@bunyip In fact Koalas sleep about 17h a day, because they have to metabolically break down the toxic compounds contained in eucalyptus leaves, one of their very few food sources. Akward evolution.
My suggestion: (?)
Pawn= We
King= I
Queen= You (singular)
Rook= He
Minor pieces= You (plural)
Black=They

It has happened. Reality has become so absurd that it is indistinguishable from reality.
@Alakaluf I think they're just having fun
George Carlin was an idiot!
I personally like the "White Knight!" ....for obvious reasons.

In the indian subcontinent the pieces are called as
king: raja aka King
Queen: Vazir aka minister/adviser
Rook: haathi aka Elephant
knight: ghoda aka Horse
Bishop: oot aka Camel
pawn: pyada aka foot soldier
