He became a ghost as he died of stress with no zombies around.

And now he's completely stress-free.
With lots of zombies around.

But then he came back to life

(I haven't really read the story)

(That's cuz we're writing it now)
They were posing as ad-signs and cardboard cut-outs of fictional zombies, of which there were lots around.
