Should Lichess allow Thematcic Tournaments to be Rated?

Recently a friend of mine. Tried to make a new tournament in his team for endgame practice, but he couldn't make it rated because lichess does not allow Thematic positions to be rated. My request to Lichess is that there should be some criterias - if fulfilled then one can create a Thematic position tournament rated. I hope Lichess would review this request. Thanks
Also to mention:-
1). Criterias could be that the position doesn't give an advantage of 1.0 or more (i.e. I think a winning advantage)
2). The value of the total material present on the board for both sides is greater than a specific number of points ( It will help to ignore positions with just a pawn or so )
Thematic Tournaments to be Rated?

Yes, if possible then Lichess please add this feature. I would love to play such rated events
Only official thematic tournaments are rated because these are ensured to not have unfair positions. And even in most cases rating changes are capped.
In my opinion, thematic tournaments could be rated but there shouldnt be unfair positions like white is winning or black is winning. It should be equal to have a fair game.
Yes, you are right if the position is fair then it should be rated that's why I thought and mentioned the criterias for making it rated
Thematic games for certain openings- why not. You'll get complete games there. But endgame? That would be more like puzzles, not like tournaments.
Huh, I didn't notice that the opening selector for custom "Starting position" had been removed. I was about to suggest that a list of "fair" or "balanced" openings had already been compiled and that unless you're playing obscure gambits (which even masters don't play) that I didn't see any problem with having rated thematic tournaments.
@Toadofsky you gave a nice idea to go further in it as well as some information about that rated custom positions existed. I guess Lichess can do it again including some Endgames Pre-installed for players to play with which are fair as rated
@zuiophjklnm ig you're right to some extent. But there's a lot yet to discover in Endgames and it would help one improve those
