Three Check Tips

"4. Values of the pieces and checks:

Pawn = 1
Queen's bishop = 2.7
King's bishop = 3.5
Knight = 4
Rook = 5
Queen = 10
1 Check = 2
2 Checks = 9"

I don't know what this is supposed to mean or how you got these values, and I think it's inaccurate. You can't assign checks values... the values of checks are extremely variable depending on the position.

Like, I hate the whole value system in general. It just doesn't make sense to assign constant numbers to pieces that derive their power from the positions that they are placed in.

"The king's bishop is worth more than the queen's bishop due to its ability to attack f7 and h7 for white (and f2 and h2 for black).

Once again, depends on the position.

"2. Never open up a diagonal to your king, especially the e1-a5 and e1-h4 diagonals for white and the corresponding diagonals for black."

Nevers are never true :P
In fact, 1. d4 has been played at higher levels before as well even though it opens up the king.

Other than that, your writeup is fairly accurate.

I will add that probably one of the most important aspects of 3+ is, sadly, the opening. If you want to become a good 3+ player, you have to study opening theory, and there's a lot of it. Theoryless players will often find themselves in awful positions regardless of their other abilities since 3+ is very unbalanced (White has a very major advantage from turn 1). This is probably one of the reasons that I quit 3+ as it stopped being a fun and crazy game and started becoming mostly theory reliant like racing kings.
