Love

Social status plays into it.

I knew a girl named, won't mention the name but she was from Denmark. And she had a long term relationship, but one comment, literally one comment in a record store made her boyfriend lose all her respect.... and she basically told him that right then.... and it wasn't a horrible comment, or anything like that, from what I understood.

Just, you know, jived the wrong way and all that..... you can see a similar thing with four instance Johnny Depp. His previous wives say there's no way he could be violent ever, but once reputation is tarnished, sometimes there's almost no going back.

In the first instance I would say it's mostly the "grass is greener on the other side" syndrome, and the solution is more or less, love the one you're with. (As in a direction, not as a statement.) I.e. too much fickleness would require some more steadiness, etc.

As well as just not having enough emotional intelligence to both a) understand and appreciate the partner, and b) love them enough to forgive something truly small.

Lastly there's a big blind spot many times, not understanding that everything is fluid, and relationships aren't two separate individuals acting and reacting -- they form a whole, so to speak. A relationship is two people who are intertwined. So, while that sounds mystical, it is the simple fact that if you get deeply involved with someone, there's a mutual responsibility. . .

Just some thoughts.

In other words, some people are too fickle, or any of another thing.

It takes a lot of work, and a lot of heartbreak make a connection. The more pain you're willing to endure in searching for the best partnership, the best relationship, more you may eventually be happy.

But then, you might find the perfect one the next day.

However, that "perfect one" is the real flaw. Like, these two people I mentioned, the one from Denmark etc., they had that "perfect love" story thing, but that's the point that it fell apart, absolutely and completely, a single comment in a record store making the culprit.

So, that's what you already knew. Now, all you have to do is learn the rest: patience, depth, intuition, creativity, intelligence, etc....

Just everything good. Good luck.

Build solid foundations, as much as you can. And then you will have success. The story didn't have this, solid foundations of both people. It was bound to fail, therefore. If not this then something else. Basically, learn about human nature, and goodness and so on...

Good luck.
@MESSIgod love is one of the divinest thing in life. Yes @EarlyLight it's a mutual understanding. Love may occur more than one time in an individual's life but true love only once. Everything in this world is external but one who achieves the peace of love internally is the most lucky person in this world.

Addition by me — Also pity the ones which live without knowledge, and imagination [:)]

That "once" matters soo much to soo many people. Some are lucky people but not everyone has that "once" love with them forever but its the best part of their life (till my knowledge).
