@Sacmaniac I wouldn’t say I didn’t trust them, as I’d never considered them from that perspective. I like the atoms that make up a bacon sarnie, in fact they’re probably the best atoms but I hate the atoms that make up corned beef. So, on reflection, from my opening few words, if the same atoms that can make a bacon sarnie can also make corned beef, maybe you really can’t trust the little blighters. How many atoms make up a pound of sausages? ( very nice atoms they are too) :-)

thanks for the comments....... me personally....... the number of atoms in the universe has got to be way more the total chess games....the stalemate rule of 3 identical board positions would keep the tally from running up to high....anyway thats the answer on the internet..some mathmatician came up with this figure in 1950 trying to figure out how to pogram a computer to play chess i think all they had for a program back then were holes cut out in a roll of paper i think ..... i bet he had his hands full....
