how to get better at puzzle storm?

i need some advice. I always get stuck on puzzles at around 30, and I can never seem to break more than 50 in 3 minutes.
often i rage quit and smack my computer. is there a way to get better at this, or am i just too bad to imrpove?

@NorthSpeed Part of it has to do with mouse speed, and of course quick pattern recognition. Getting puzzles wrong also doesn't help.
