Lichess v2 is unusable

This new lichess v2 is beyond awful literally can't use it. Board is WAY too big whereas some things look too small. The sizing is awful. Lichess, please give us an option to use the old version. If not I'm heading over to chess.com tbh

I can't say I'm a fan of it myself. Yes, I understand that the devs overhauled the code and made the UI work more adaptively on more platforms, which is all good. That said, the honest truth is that Version 2 brings no features of any significance and, for most players, is a UI downgrade resulting in bad sizing of the screen components and a slightly blurry chess board and pieces.

If I had a choice, I'd much prefer to use the prior version.

The simuls need sorting out , hopefully they will fix all the bugs soon :)

You can resize the board

Lol, yes I am sure you can, but it doesn't help much if there are no pieces on it :)

Play for a week, you won't remember what the previous version was. Great site.

I'm having issues with the main board, when I use lichess.org I can see the other two boards (Lichess TV and Puzzle) correctly but main board is not loading at all. I tried resizing but it won't work

So true :'( I'm so terrified if they don't give any attention to Lichess people and just force us to use this new version, I'd really quit Lichess then :'( . #Old_Version_Back
