I reached 2200 in Rapid. Help me reach 2300!

How can I reach 2300? I already feel like I am pushing my limit. I am not a kid anymore, is it possible to get to 2300?

I have a restricted time but ready to put some work daily.
Most of the 2200s-2400s I play, happen to do a lot of tactical mistakes, such as missing sacrifices, blundering, and other common tactics. You should just do some puzzles every day and try not to blunder much.
@KickingKnights

You are right, my tactical abilities is pretty mediocre at best, but i have done many puzzles and i can not really improve that much.
Even my puzzle storm score is quite bad.

How can i improve it?

I have done more than 8000 puzzles...
Also, you should analyze your games. It is okay to make mistakes, but it isn't okay to keep repeating them.
Hello all,

I have had the same problem (and most of chess players). I had improved a lot in the beginning but eventually I hit a mental wall. I became frustrated and my rating started to decline. However, I found that my problem was in three things:

1. Behaviour habits while playing chess.
2. Analyze games in the correct way (no engine).
3. Middlegame strategy (pattern recognition).

Make sure that you only play serious games if you are in a good mood. I have found that if you play in a bad mood (especially after a bad loss), you can be affected and play poorly as a result

Also, analyzing games is a very important way to improve. Study grandmaster games from databases.

Lastly, it's all practice. If you do chess for a certain amount of time every day, and you make it habit, you will improve. Always remember that chess is fun, I discovered a fun YouTube channel recently that hopefully demonstrates this (and hopes receives more recognition!)

Best of luck!

I analyze games but always with an engine

Why is without an engine better?
@GoodGamerpro100

I mean, look at your Puzzle storm score. Your tactical abilities are completely different, how can i also become fast and good at seeing tactics?

Ideally you would like to go through your whole game and write what your reasoning was behind most of your moves. After that (which should take around 20 mins at least) you can take a look at what the engine says, and see where your evaluation of the game went wrong.

I always do a puzzle a day, it doesn't matter how long it takes as long as I try my very best. Eventually you are going to see how your board vision and piece dynamics improve.

I also want to emphasise, only do chess when you are ready to put all your energy into it.
