Book recommendations for calculation training

Hey folks!

I am *1500 fide player looking for books to improve my calculation skills. I know aagaard's book but this one is way over my strength. I think it's the same with Romain Edouard's books.

I'm interested in the different methods (f.e. starting with forcing moves etc; exclusion etc.)

I'm more of a grinder, going through the easier books first and working my way up.

I would be thankful for every recommendation.

Cheers,
Andy
"Think Like a Grandmaster" - Kotov has good explanations and good exercises
@petri999 i am looking forward to go through this book - i thought it is "just" about forcing moves. thank your for the advice

As far as books are concerned - it might be true that you there are a lot of more modern ways to study. But I usually get way more distracted when i work with chessbase, a video etc.

It's just me and the book (sometimes a board) and that's it - no interferences no excuses. I made huge improvements in the last year.

and most important: I just like to smell the "middle" of a new printed book - year sounds weird and it is! :)
