I wanted to find a Chess engine I can use for my bot. What chess engine is better than stockfish 10.
Stockfish 10.
If you have a decent GPU, you could run a leela net. Or, if you don’t want to be yet another leela clone, you could run the Bad Gyal or Good Gyal networks.

@MiniHuman What is Bad Gyal?
/o\ Read the link!
Ok, I'll name it Fred.

For me, the best chess engine is going to be the one that will be able to play a chess position without a king or with any handy cap I give to a chess starting position.
If I ask the engine to put all it's priority on saving the king and capturing the queen, will it happen?
No need of checkmate, just win the Queen and the game is over.
Some humans plan their opening in an aim to capture a bishop or a rook. Do engines do things like that? If they don't then, there is no best yet.
Best is just a word. Best for what?

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know a chess engine stronger than stockfish 10?
