There's no single best opening for white. e4, d4, c4 and Nf3 are considered better than the rest but that's about it. Pick whichever appeals to you more.
Well, you have to find out yourself what the best Opening could be for you. For some it is e4, others d4, orthers Play Reti... and some Players search their whole lives for an answer to this Question.
When AlphaZero, about 3800, beat Stockfish very soundly we got a light onto every aspect of chess, and this is a big one.. Openings got turned on their head. We still don't have perfect knowledge, but a lot closer.
So a lot of those openings are very well worth studying... One opening that AZero discovered which was similar is the interesting line in the Queens Gambit after Bg5, dc4, e5,
