@AptPatzer How do you work when playing such a game against a strong player?

I spend quite a lot of time doing analysis, it's rare I won't have at least a couple boards set up for a given game. And sometimes the analysis will carry on into bed/shower/car/etc.

There are also ICCF events that prohibit engine use, but as you might expect, a great many people use engines anyway in these.
