You said that altering the interface is cheating. But for you to say that, you need to define both “cheating on lichess” and “altering the interface on lichess” and prove that the first includes the second. But you can never objectively do that because the definitions will change for different people, so it will never objectively be considered cheating.
E.g. if you change the way your pieces look, then that’s altering the interface! Is that cheating? :) @NopenaShakki

I have no idea what this plugin is, but it sounds like you can 'insta-move' pieces without having to take time to move your mouse cursor.
In the context of bullet and ultra-bullet, knowing that 99.99% of the bullet players have never heard of this mod, it sounds as though this would give a player an obvious and unfair advantage.
That said, if Lichess can't regulate or rule against it, (I imagine that there are slippery slope rationales/arguments in both directions here), then it's one of those things that will just have to stand 'as is'.
At any rate, when it comes to untitled players, bullet and ultra-bullet have nothing to do with chess and everything to do with manipulating the adrenal glands into releasing 'fight or flight' adrenaline every time that both sides have 5 seconds left on the clock.
This is the same motivation behind people doing hard drugs, adrenaline junkies risking life and limb, and gambling addicts risking utter ruin.
This entire conversation is painful to watch.
It's like having an unscratched winning lotto ticket in your glove box, and only using it to clean crap off of your shoe before throwing it away.
Chess is worth so much more than what a small contingent of strung-out, temporary, tourists give it credit for.

Actually, about 25% of players know about it. And you can’t instantly move, you have to click a key on your keyboard and move your mouse to a square. @Onyx_Chess
Keyboard has ruined speed chess on lichess. It won't be remedied until it is banned. So until then, you can enjoy it.
But of course, not using it is recommended unless you have a greed for those high ratings which a lot of people do or if you don't respect your opponents or fairness in anyway.
