@thibault is a moderator who created Lichess. If he allowed people to message him then everyday he would have got 100+ messages which would be hard for him.

You didn't do anything wrong. He blocked everyone from messaging him and I don't thing you can contact him. We all want to express our gratitude to him but we cannot.

And I think you are getting the spelling wrong. Its not thibolt its thibault

Indeed yes, there's Alot of this about, trying to contact our heroes is very difficult, i keep trying to contact Hans Newmann to thank him for the Chess catchphrase, however he keeps telling me "I'm not the famous Chess player!" I just keep replying
"your secrets safe with me, and your Chess speaks for its self my friend." :).

It's actually a difficult name to spell. I always copy/paste from Wikipedia when wanted to mention him.
