Why do people censor the hess in chess.com whenever they mention it?

I also think these people get carried away! There is no need to do this anymore. It is usually censored if the word is obscene.

Acting morally superior is no better. Making threads meant for comparison between chess sites, which have a predetermined result, is pointless. Talking about a chess site that has completely different values/ways of operation than lichess, isn't necessary, because 95+% of the times the other site would receive hate anyways. Somehow, creating threads and bitching about another site *on lichess*, just to get likes, is helping the forums. Now that isn't making lichess look bad? So why do you care about this pseudo-issue?
i prefer lichess over chess. com because in chess.com you have to pay for a lot of stuff, of which i understand, running a site is expensive, they are in the right to do that, i don't disagree with the idea, my second main problem with chess.com is the layout, how the website is a bit messy and rough looking, while you look at lichess which just feels cleaner and easier to navigate

i also don't like the fact (i am not sure if this is true, but assuming it is) that chess.com makes an agreement with content creators and chess professionals, might be false information tho, i don't know

however, chess.com does have better analysis, and more bots to play

all of these are my opinions, disagree if you want, its just my opinion that lichess is better than chess.com

"Acting morally superior is no better."

You are the one acting morally superior, hypocrite

"Making threads meant for comparison between chess sites, which have a predetermined result, is pointless."

We aren't comparing chess sites, we are saying there isn't a point in censoring "chess.com"

"Talking about a chess site that has completely different values/ways of operation than lichess, isn't necessary, because 95+% of the times the other site would receive hate anyways."

We aren't talking about chess.com, we are are complaining about lichessers that are comparing chess.com to lichess and then saying chess.com sucks. Again, you missed the point

"Somehow, creating threads and bitching about another site *on lichess*, just to get likes, is helping the forums. Now that isn't making lichess look bad? So why do you care about this pseudo-issue?"

I am not (b word) about another site on lichess just to get likes, you completely missed the point again, we are talking about people from here saying chess.com sucks and censoring it as a joke. This isn't making lichess look bad. Pseudo-issue? This is annoying, but we didn't say it was outright a issue. You really need to calm down
you haven't added anything to the conversation with that comment, might as well not make one then
I like websites about making things. I like waffles.
