Why can't Daniel Rensch be more professional?

I just watched the Magnus/Grichuk game and I simply don't get why Daniel Rensch cannot act professionally for more than half an hour. Last year he kept changing away from the board and was constantly commentating on what the players was eating or their facial expressions, this year it seems the theme is really bad sex references -- I cannot recall a broadcast where the co-commentator wasn't the more professional (Ginger GM, Eric, Hess). It is all the more annoying because when he is focusing on the chess he is doing a pretty good job.

I cannot think of any other form of sport/game broadcasting where commentators are doing something similar; even random chess youtube commentary is more professional. Chess.com should force him to watch a random twitch stream of an esports event and reflect on what the commentators do/don't do during broadcast or alternatively follow the following three rules:

Avoid any sentence with "snack"
If you think the pun is funny it isn't
If a sentence contains "I shouldn't say.." don't say it
Yeah he does sometimes seem totally oblivious to how awkward he makes the stream with some of his comments. I don't really mind the more laid back nature of the commentary in general though.
@Deathmaster Thats why I am posting in off-topic. It is like Argon-complaining except Rensch is fixable. When he is commenting on the chess I think he is doing a pretty good job; on the other hand when he goes on a streak of "mate" jokes...
@Dixie2011 He plays for an audience, and he thinks what it does work. Otherwise he would change it, if he got too many complaints. So it means the majority of his viewers are happy. Do not make the mistake of thinking you're the only target out there ;)
here are the things I dont like about the chess.com broadcast: They are showing an engine bar which is so annoying it diverts my attention from the chess board to the engine evaluation way too often, Danny is a bigmouth, as you said his chess commentary is not so bad but way too often he is venturing into off topics, the most enjoyable stream so far was the mvl-grischuk match where Eric gave some really quality commentary with Danny chipping in in between but I agree Danny somehow keeps off tracking every 5 mins.
Rensch is NOT a professional commentator. Lacks any training. originality or insight. However, he is one of the original good ole boys, whose being fed table scraps.
His off the wall comments can make our heads spin. ( Frequent sexual references.) His favorite saying "I was wrong about that" is frequented every other minute. But it's CC. The best they have to offer.
@Dixie2011

Have you ever watched any poker championships?

That sounds exactly like a couple of the commentators I've seen on there. The WSOP has two regulars but every once in a while a rando will come on commentating and sounding like a total jackleg.

Its both hilarious and infuriating at the same time.
