Vinyl Recordings

This is for us geezers only. Just kidding. I’m wondering what vinyl recordings you had back in our day that you nearly wore out. Just flat ran the needle through it from playing it over and over. If you can also post the release year, that would be good. I had many, but I’ll toss one out to start. Any genre is fair game.

1970 Paranoid, Black Sabbath.

Meddle
Pink Floyd 1971

Electric Ladyland
Jimi Hendrix Experience

Note. My dates are more guesses.
Don't have vinyl any longer, but Electric Ladyland (68) was one of my favorites, used to listen to Still raining, still dreaming. While on Hendrix, AYE (67) and Bold as Love (68) were go to...100.

Doors first album (67) was crucial for me and the very early supergroup, The Bluesbreakers (66). When I stayed at a cousin's house one summer I listened to their records, Beatles blue and red albums.

IV (71) was the first Zeppelin album that I bought.

Sometimes I'll interject comments about music reaction channels. There is a channel, Lost in Vegas, which moreso towards the beginning of the channel a few years ago, these two African-American gentleman tried hard rock as a new genre for their first time listening. Ryan and George became legendary fans of Black Sabbath. Literally I think they would fight you if you did not acknowledge Sabbath as one of the top acts in any genre. Love their channel and they increased my appreciation for Sabbath.
