Should Lichess Be A Political Movement or Party?

First of all, everyone of reasonable intelligence and sound mind knows that an uncompromising political movement only succeeds if other political movements are able to voice legitimate criticism and force compromise with such a movement. For example, in American courts of law there is an uncompromising defense and an uncompromising prosecution. Even though both attorneys defending both sides know full well that most of the time their uncompromising sides are full of crap and manipulation, and the truth lies in the middle, the way court system works is to defend both sides as if there is no other possible outcome from the perspective of each respective side of the argument. Then, you let the judge and jury figure out where the truth is.

I'd like to see a political party exist in our world in which chess players are argued as being somehow special and unique, and due to that ought to exist as a social and political elite in world government. Perhaps we could call this new political party "The National Socialist Chess Players Party" or something along a like facsimile of a rather charming line and direction.

I guess the party platform would be something along the lines of an underlying belief that the human being has been shaped over time to figure out how to exist in this world as kind of a mathematical puzzle with an underlying characteristic of war and the struggle for survival. Chess seems to be a perfect representation of such a struggle and hence chess players are perhaps a superior form of human being that gravitate towards such pasttimes that amplify what superior human nature really has become. That is, the ability to figure out one's world like a mathematical puzzle and win such a struggle or war.

Again, obviously the realism is that chess players should not run the world, but I think we've been far too malrepresented for too long! And I think strong advocacy for a group of chess players to form some kind of political oligarchy would certainly be a refreshing change from the over blown liberal democratic melting pot that this world has degenerated into.
Ay Kasparov doin some political shit
I don't know if you'll have a chance against the Global Go Congress Party. Perhaps if The National Socialist Chess Players Party and the Othello Reform Party team up then there could be a chance.
The horde of cricket cracks I shall be joining, bowling nothing but googlies at your miserable ideologies!

Well, I'm certainly NOT going to be compromising MY MORALS by associating with any "Go" association. As for "Othello" people.....I am entirely unconvinced of their intellectual strength or lack there of as an asset or detriment to our political cause. My recommendation to them would be to either learn how to play chess or stay out of our way!
