106 , thoughts on anarchism , this is probably the most toughest political doctrine as you must govern yourself , you must police yourself etc it calls for high moral fibre to be an anarchist , but it is the best of all political doctrines as it requires you to be mature enough to govern yourself and your behaviour , thats why i like it
it is about taking control and responsibility for your own life and not letting some likely dodgy politricksian make those decisions for you instead

6 Anarchism is bad. Think about it this way: people are willing to give away their freedoms in order to avoid it.
11 that’d be a reason, no?
15 To a degree. Since fighting against them typically means supporting one party and marginalizing the other, this implies that one party receives better treatment
15. We shouldn’t combat racism or sexism. People are allowed to think whatever they want. We should combat immoral outward expressions of this hate.
17 No such examples exist. In order to have one, a person would have to judge the other person, defeating the purpose.
19. That alone isn’t enough to criticize a movie
101. Haven't watched enough movies yet.
102. Plastic. It's a great invention if used properly.
103. Tea, if I really had to pick. None otherwise.
104. Multiple remakes.
105. Unlimited money since it can buy love.
106. Bad. A society requires hierarchies and authorities to prevent the system from becoming more chaotic.
107. Cold.
108. Not reading the terms and conditions. Because everyone should.
109. I do not play video games.
110. Both are bad and prone to dictionary attacks, so preferably none. However, "password" is just a little better in brute-force attacks.
111. Then you wouldn't be any different from that person.
112. No, not always. Mental conditions exist.
113. Ninrais
114. I guess threads are deleted in extreme cases. Otherwise, if it's not too bad, they are closed, to indirectly let other users know that those kinds of topics are not welcome.
115. Depends. What are their morals? Will they feel like outcasts and react more aggressively when called racist or sexist? Etc.
116. Equality of Opportunity instead of Equality of Outcome.
117. Can't provide an example. Generally speaking, people change their opinions and perspectives and beliefs over time. Validity of an argument does not depend on the person. It should, ideally, be understood objectively.
118. (@)zwischenzugx11 (@)clousems (@)chummer (@)mrpushwood
119. Neutral. I don't want to force somebody into liking something. It's possible they would hate the genre even more if I did.
120. It was an official rule added long after chess was invented.
121. I disagree. Sure, obsessing over engines is not healthy, but they are great tools if used correctly. The example given by the op (of the article) showed that his friend compared a human to an engine directly. An advantage according to the engine does not translate into a win for the player, since a human can't play as accurately as an engine (and there are other factors like time management, tiredness, etc.). Anyone who thinks an engine evaluation decides the game's result, should probably not even play chess.
122. Depends on the situation.
123. Rick Astley. Duh. The others are too generic. (But wait, what if everyone chooses this name because they found the others too generic? Wouldn't Rick Astley become generic? :O)
124. Goers.
125. "Yes."
126. Funeral : Realfun
127. Whatever is the strongest.
128. No idea.
129. Never watched it.
130. Don't know about it.
so many posters here need to look up what anarchism really is as their definition is only a repeat of the historical and ongoing slur that it means chaos , it does not unless you are chaotic and unable to govern yourself and that my friends is your failing not anarchy's
@CreativeThinking #123. Just like when people hold on to limited-edition things because they hope they will become Worth a lot of money one day which actually just makes them worth less lmao.
@sabutama: I'm a libertarian, so I'm all in favor of self-government and liberty. Pure anarchy, though, is a very, very dangerous thing to support. I suppose it would work in a perfect society that was stable, benevolent, and honest--- but if those conditions are met, then it would still be inferior to a communal, monarchial, or democratic society, as confusion would arise regarding the decision making process.
In an anarchial state, there is nobody to settle disputes, to negotiate with outsiders, enforce laws, etc.
clousems if we wait for a perfect society then we will forever be stuck in this imperfect society ,
carpe diem ,
anarchy works , esp on the small scale , i know ive lived in communities where this was the norm
self governing is possible , and a better alternative than meek obedience to government
