Serious idea to improve chess

People think chess is boring (yes, the world champion MC is extremely handsome) because it’s predictable and someone like me would never defeat Hikaru or the amazing Magnus carlsen.

Unlike poker where any old idiot can occasionally get lucky and defeat phil helmuth. And poker booms with lots of people willing to play it for money.

So let’s add some variance in chess, after every move when you press your clock it says things like “you have to move a pawn back one square” one in a hundred times and “remove opponents bishop from the game” one in 200 times

Ok maybe my suggested improvement wasn’t the best but something to introduce variance would be cool. Then I might have a shot at qualifying to play the gorgeous magnus carlsen and we really hit it off, for example
