On a scale of 1-10, how much does lichess mean to you?

"Things will get better!Im sure" Thing is, life isn't a film. Everything won't just magically work-out once you stand up and dramatically say, "I don't want to die!".
This is real-life, and in real-life, even if you try your hardest, there is no guarantee that things will get better.
Things don't always get better, that is just the truth.
And if things get better for me, then I don't know what can't happen.
(Sorry, I'm a downer)

"You always have a choice." I disagree. I believe that things like depression, self-hate/self-harm, and addiction can(and have)taken away my freedom-of-choice.

"Have you considered speaking to someone about it?" If you mean a "professional" then I would rather just die(Really long story, but I don't want anything to do with people like phycologists or things like mental hospitals), if you mean just anyone, then yeah, I have done that many times, it helps.

If you do then maybe try find the root/cause of your unhappiness. I have a relative who suffers from chronic depression and ever since he started taking anti-depressants, he can now lead a normal life.

i think some of you guys are seriously confusing liking something, and it meaning a lot to you. something meaning a 10 to you means that it is the pure maximum most you could ever care about something, so basically you guys that you would be willing to literally die for lichess?? I'm giving lichess a 4 but i still love it and appreciate it

Yes, I would be very upset! I would give lichess a rating of 10/10 because it has several components, which make it enjoyable to play on.

I have a lot of traumas about medicine-related-abuse, I do take a little medicine at night, but antidepressants would be a different story. If their purpose is to "make me come out of the house", then, I would rather cut my own throat.

Life is unfair/can be hard but if you want to you can get through it. I wish you best of luck!
