Nuclear deal

@NaturalBornTraveller

The nuclear arsenals of the other nuclear-armed states are considerably smaller, but all are either developing or deploying new weapon systems or have announced their intention to do so. China is gradually increasing the size and diversifying the composition of its nuclear arsenal. India and Pakistan are expanding their military fissile material production capabilities on a scale that may lead to significant increases in the size of their nuclear weapon inventories over the next decade. North Korea continues to prioritize its military nuclear programme as a central element of its national security strategy, although in 2018 it announced a moratorium on the testing of nuclear weapons as well as medium- and long-range ballistic missile delivery systems.

@chummer #14
Sipri is an independent "Think Tank" that gets it's foundings from undisclosed "governments and independent foundations."
#14 didn't show any source code for the claim in #12

Who ranks them amount the best think tanks in the world?.
@NaturalBornTraveller

University of Pennsylvania ranks them as #24 worldwide in Defense and National Security, for one.

Their governing board is headed by Jan Eliasson whose resume includes: Deputy Secretary-General of the UN from 2012-2016; President of the UN General Assembly from 2005-2006; Sweden's Minister for Foreign Affairs; UN Secretary General Special Envoy for Darfur; first UN Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs; mediator for the Iraq Iran War.

Check out the rest of the board - they are people who have excelled in the public and private sectors with incredible CVs.

Their research is frequently used and collaborate on research with top US institutions like the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins. They are also cited by top newspapers and news organizations around the world, like the NY Times, Reuters, Le Monde, the London Times, Washington Post, among many, many others. And have been so for decades.

If they aren't experts, then who would be in your eyes?
could always just ban nukes , thatd sort the mess out
but it gets to the point where i feel glad knowing that im in range of a nuke going of cos i wouldnt want to be here after
@chummer #16 They all sound very political.
Sure, they know their stuff.
They are experienced political players, but where is the information I asked for in #13?
I could send links of other political "think tank" that might have a different opinion. All with equal credentials.
But I don't care about opinion..
Show me facts. Not political "think tanks".
Actually they are distinctly non-political. All funding is reviewed by an ethics board and any attempt to influence research or steer conclusions result in a revocation of that funding.

I personally trust an institution with a decades long track record of hiring experts in their field, from the public and private sectors, to be a pretty good source.

Why don't you go ahead and show me your sources with equal credentials, because I looked and all I found were other sources supporting my view.

Thank you, @NaturalBornTraveller
@chummer I don't need to show any sources. After all, I am not the one, making the claim, that certain countries are boosting their nuclear capacity!
(Which you do in #12)

I am just questioning your claim of insight knowledge. Which you still haven't shown evidence for.
