more virtuouso guitar

I'm searching for that new favorite streaming channel. I knew about Joe Satriani and Steve Vai a long time, they were never my go to instrumentalists. I really enjoyed their songs I heard today, going on my playlists now.

What do y'all think about these dudes? What genre are they, I'm just curious. Who else should I listen to that is similar?

Have you seen "Crossroads" (1986)?

Anyway, I am no guitarist but "Buckethead" is (was) fantastic! Unfortunately, he has faced health problems. He kept his identity a secret for a long time.
