I was 9 years old as I asked myself , 'what are you a girl or a boy?'.

@FutureAstronomer said in #8:
> Before my birth, many of my family members wished that the second child of my parents, that is me, should be a boy as the first child of my parents is my sister. But then there was a plot twist later on. Everyone was happy after my birth except my grandma. She sometimes hesitate and say to me that, "I wished to have a grandson instead of a granddaughter, but it's fine".

> I wonder how many people wanted that "I should be a boy" oof. I just hate discrimination. If I'd get a chance to set new rules in this world, I would just make this world so equal that there would be no chance for discriminating and for criticizing or demoralising someone (directly/indirectly) based on their gender.
No worries with the genetic tech, you can change your gender and even have superpowers
this thread could be more interesting if you wouldnt fight each other but exchange valid arguments for the seek of knowledge.
@mortmann I like many of your posts, but I disagree here. It comes down to medical consensus combined with historical / cultural precedent that sex and gender are distinct on one side, and "I don't understand" or 'This makes me sick and/ or uncomfortable" on the other.

It may not be a common occurrence, but it is a widely accepted one.
