How would I defeat this?

If there was a man with a high-powered assault rifle (say an AR-15) trying to kill me, and I was armed with nothing but a book, a phone, and a Chromebook, and I was inside a building, how would I take said dude down?
Just curious.

If you cannot defeat him, try become friend with him. Give him your book, phone, and maybe Chromebook.

But if he shoots you, try to block bullets with your books, and pretend to die.

Start learning karate class lessons, train yourself to disarm armed men and get in shape?

Your best bet (aside from running away) would be to wait around the corner of a door and surprise them and go for a disarm when they pass through. Alternatively wait until they have to reload and you might have a tiny bit of time to disrupt it - but good luck with that too.

Even with training?
(also remember there are gonna be other people in the building, and my morals wont let me leave them or wait to take action)

Unless you have some sort of weapon, or are really close without them seeing you - you're just gonna die lol so if your 'morals' prevent you from adopting a practical strategy, RIP
