Hot Air Balloon Ride

Have you been up? Do you want to go?

I have not been, probably willing to try it with a few encouraging other passengers.

On a tangent, I watched a movie about scientists in the 1800s going up (much too high) to learn about meteorology. The Aeronauts, a terrifying and breathless movie.

Reminding me of the great Jack Finney story (about an impromptu balloon ride out of somebody's backyard).

Definitely do it.There is no sensation at all of movement..you are travelling at the same speed as the breeze.Any fear of heights you might have disappears because you are ascending quite slowly,almost imperceptibly.It's not like looking over the edge of a cliff.
