Help with PvE in Minecraft

1) How do I avoid jumpscares?
2) How do I deal with hordes of Zombies (is water bucket the only effective solution when you don't have sweeping edge)?
3) How do I fight spiders effectively? (Especially the cave spider spawner)

(Creepers and skeletons are mere annoyances and nothing more for me, that's not really a problem and besides, creeper explosions can be dealt witha shield)

4) How do I time my hits right (occasionally a problem)?

Note: this is Java edition

I dunno i just go straight in im a decent fighter

loljust hit zombies back it is pretty effective they shouldn't be able to reach you

spiders just don't let them get the upper ground

jumpscares i dunno

also the best way is to get a horse even enderman are no match for a horse

@Komokid I'm talking about cave spiders and spiders in mineshafts.

Jumpscares: Idk, train yourself to not be scared by them

Zombie hordes: Repeatedly sweep attack with a sword (doesn't require sweeping edge) and if they're still gaining ground just keep backing up before you kill them.

Spiders: Mostly its about timing your strikes right as far as I know, Just hitting them back before they hit you

Spawners: Usually it's easiest to run in and mine spawners immediately, I guess that doesn't work as well if its surrounded in cobwebs. If you want a cheese strategy, dig under them.

oh then wait why they hard to kill? jsut slap them with your iron sword as Horus would say "Slap your enemy with your khopesh until they collapse, if they get back up, slap them again, repeat as necessary
