In my school, there is option for both Online and Offline exams. We are maintaining every protocol in our school and unlike your school @Aritra_Saha we are not forced to go to school. We have option - Either Offline or Online.

The current vaccines protect against the more contagious variants. FULL STOP. They are just not 100% effective in stopping infection, as they are with the older variant. On the other hand, infection is not the reason that we should be careful with COVID...it is the possibility of severe illness and death, as well as transmitting it to more vulnerable people (like our grandparents).
CRITICALLY: The current vaccines still prevent severe illness and death ~100%, and they might reduce transmission to others.
SO: Get the vaccine when you can (I’ve had both of my shots). It won’t hurt you (unless you can’t handle a shot) and will save lives (the vaccines are a modern miracle; definitely the greatest public health achievement in decades).
