I think it's terrific. If you liked Breaking Bad, you'll probably like Better Call Saul. If you haven't watched Breaking Bad, watch that first. In both cases, season 1 is probably weakest but it keeps getting better. You have to watch from the beginning. Tons of memorable characters. Creative story lines.
Do I recommend it? Not necessarily. For example, if you like Marvel SuperHero movies, you may not like this show. If you like Scorsese crime movies or the Sopranos, you may well like it.
