"The trial results were posted on medRxiv, a non-peer reviewed site which expedites access to new research, often preceding peer reviewed publication. "

The article I posted links to that site.

"non-peer reviewed site which expedites access to new research, often preceding peer reviewed publication. "

In other words, a commercial site, typing whatever people pay them too!
#404 then why not post the direct mesrxiv link?
Why post a link to an article from another site as you did in #398?
"Non peer reviewed" is science code for "disregard".
The people that matter aren't disregarding studies like that one. In a poll of more than 6000 doctors worldwide, hydroxychloroquine was rated the most effective treatment for COVID-19.
Stop trying to imply that it is covid-19 that these things are curing.Not a single one of you trumpians ever uses the word "symptoms".
You shovel out unscientific generalisations and call it medical science.
Who conducted the poll..I'm betting it was done by a company that makes the quinine derivative. "Eight out of ten dentists recommend our brand of toothpaste."

Please define "the people that(sic) matter"..who are they?

As of December 2019 there were 118,635 registered medical practitioners in Australia alone..your 6000 sample is statistically meaningless.
@410

The poll was conducted by Sermo.

That usage of "that" isn't incorrect in American usage. Maybe it is in Aussie-speak. Whatever the case, you're nitpicking.

The people that matter are the doctors on the front lines treating COVID-19 patients.
And before you nitpick that, i'm not saying those are the only people who matter. And before you nitpick that i said "people who matter", that's also not incorrect American usage.
